I was lucky enough to win "This Thursday Challenge" and able to choose a sheet of Tanda stamps.... YIPEE ... being the indecisive person I am I was too spoilt for choice and so just had to buy some too.... so a HUGE THANK YOU to both THIS THURSDAY and TANDA STAMPS .
I just needed to play and have been very patiently waiting until today - as I wanted to make a real inky mess!!
I had spotted a new challenge The Awfully Big Art Adventure site and this weeks challenge allowed me to play!
I tried using Tim Holtz adirondack alcohol inks direct to the surface of my tin - but wasn't pleased with the result. So thought I'd try acetate, which was better then came up with the idea of stamping and designing onto paper and then using the acetate as a wrap...
Adronidic ink direct to tin
Acetate wrap
Stamped card
All angles of the completed tin
Ingredients
Tin Can
Card and acetate from stash
Tanda stamps from Native American Indian Set 1
Tim Holtz adirondack alcohol inks Terra Cotta and Denim - acetate with blending solution
Tim Holtz Distress inks Pine Cone, Old Paper and Weathered Wood
Versamark black ink
Crop-o-dile and eyelets

Oh wow this is very original work! I really like the layers of stamping and acetate - so clever! I'm guessing you used an aluminium rather than a steel can too? Thank you so much for joining in our challenge.
