The Craft Barn had me coming up with so many ideas.... I had to plan, develop and create on one - if only time wasn't always an issue :)
As a child of the 60's I loved comic books and I think POP ART is truly representative of the 60's, especially Andy Warhol. The inclusion of advertisements in "art", bubble graphics, to the iconic "Marilyn Diptych" (originally on silk), which has seen so many later interpretations I decided to reproduce my own. Not having a Marilyn Munroe stamp I chose a new to me stamp by the Stamp Attic, ATC sized card, primary coloured paints and inks, mounted the ATC's into an art journal did some hand doodling, found a quote from A.Warhol and mounted tada...........
I enjoyed taking the journal into the warm sun - shame about the shadow, so back indoors.......
