This Thursday - Challenge 15 A Round Tuit
This challenge title made me smile, and is so apt for me :)).
Great DT work and Fatima as this weeks guest also Great prize of 7 gypsies goodies from the Craft Emporium.
I've been meaning to make a book cover/holder for post it notes for a while and so needed no more encouragement! I also need to make a note so it gets a chance of getting done :))
My first attempt ended in the bin but I quite like this one!
If I make another I may trim 1cm off one of the long edges, I also discovered you can easily trim a standard card in half and make 2 covers!!
This was made on a sheet of A5 Card, run through the Big Shot using A Texture plate from the series 3 set. I then brayerd inks over the top, then cut and score the card to fit the post it notes.
Front
Macro shot A Round Tuit embellishment

This Thursday and TGIF - Masks (TT), Minature (TGIF)
This thursaday the theme is Masqerade or masks or using masking technique in whatever you create.
There is fabby DT work for inspiration and a great prize from Tanda Stamps. A link for the challenge is here.
I decided on a mask - it is a one to make from an image, which I scaled down and then outlined and coloured using Sakura pens and stickles. I then masked the image and coloured the background of my Twinchie with Color Box Inks.
Mounted and cut 2 peel off butterflies and used peel off letters to spell mask - had I given it more thought I would have mounted the letters then inked and then removed the peel offs!
