This weeks Q and L Challenge at The Craft Barn is Destiny and or Gift.
I chose Destiny and the "A best friend is a sister DESTINY forgot to give you" quote by Anonymous.
The page is very pink for me and The River City stamp is called "The Girls" appropriate I think to promote Breast Cancer Awareness month.
With this in mind I am also entering this page into the following challenges
Fussy and Fancy Pink or Breast Cancer Challenge
The Crafting Café Think Pink Challenge
Live and Love Crafts Pink Challenge
The Pink Elephant "Think Pink" Challenge
The Sisterhood Of Crafters "Think Pink" Challenge
Thank you for dropping by :)

A nice page - it reminds me I have that stamp tucked away somewhere.
That was a fantastic journal page. I'm super impressed.
If I'm correct, the River City stamp is River City Rubber, which is made right here in my home town. I took a tour of their facility one year. They make people look like their relatives and friends.
Back to the journal page, it is perfect for this Think Pink breast cancer month. I adore the quote, too because when you think about it, it's true!
Great page with lovely textures. Thanks for linking up to LLC's PINK challenge.

That's a good quote - love the composition.
Excellent combination of the challenge and highlighting a fabulous cause - BRAvo ;o))
Carol, thanks for the follow up comment. Here is a partial tour of River City Rubber. Unfortunately, all of my photos were lost when my hard drive crashed a few years ago, but I had some backed up on a Yahoo group folder.

Enjoy the partial tour.
Very creative page! Love the image too, never heard of River City before, will look it up...
What a great quote Carol and you've illustrated it so well on your lovely journal page!

Lovely page and very true words!
Fabulous background to your journal page and a great choice of quote.
Hi Carol - thanks for dropping in on me to let me know you won the storage hoops [I can't take credit for the tapes - they weren't from me, but it's good to know your collection has been kickstarted!].
It's strange because just this morning I was wondering to myself if the winner had been announced - I meant to hop over to check but forgot. Then there you were!
I use mine for all kinds of storage [packets of embellishments / ribbons / masks etc] so your project storage sounds ideal.
Thanks for taking the time to let me know you got them. Enjoy!
Julie :-)
Lovely page and quote.
That's a gorgeous page.
Love it. x
