ATC Holder

Yesterdays peek was the front cover of an ATC holder

I wanted to try something new and found this holder.

I decided to have a go at one and this is what I came up with for Ali at Crafty Ribbons as she has received some gorgeous Christmas ATC'S!















The tag punch allowed me to see a larger area of the ATC than if I just used an envelope with the closing flap removed, you could try nesties, sisix dies ...
I stitched the enveloped to the front cover - you can add more pages easiily by cutting the beading thread and re-stitching you could use thin ribbon, embroidery thread.....

I've made anoother for Caz - when she's got it I'll reveal it to you :')

My fav ribbon was the gingerbread man hence my sleeve design which I hope the Crafty Ribbon team approve of :)
As the ribbons have a red and green theme I decorated 1 gingerbread man with green ribbon and the other with red and my fav bit on them each are the eyes :)

I thoroughly enjoyed making an inky mess too :)

Alphabet Challenge - R and Theme Thursday

I know this is a bit of a cheek but I have so little time at the moment so my ATC for the alphabet challenge R is for ribbons and as the Theme Thursay is an ATC this week I combined the 2 :)

Crafty Ribbons meets Popcorn Bear

The new daisy ribbons will soon be available from Crafty ribbons they are sheer with embossed almost painted daisies - very delicate and have a scalloped border - YUMMY they were ideal to use with Popcorn bear for the new crafter's companion weekly challenge.

Created By Hand - Challenge Summer

Great challenge over at Created By Hand .
This is an altered box I created for Crafty Ribbons Challenge 6.
I first painted the box with white acrylic paint with a dash of Pearlescent pearls powder added X2. Sprayed with Crafty Notions Lustre Aubergine colour spray and brushed several times. Buyetflies cut from ribbon and with Faux gems box decorated.

A new challenge Stampin for the weekend

On the major oops front DS3 has managed to break his speech machine so he's more than a LITTLE FRUSTRATED, have to wait til monday to see how and when repair work can be done.He's not a happy bunny, but I know school has a spare so hoping they will loan it and also have a backup coz we don't have the backup gadget they do :(

Trust everyone had a great Bank holiday we got stacks done in the garden and are doing the snaggy repairs today :)

The OCC challenge this weekis recycling , I cut buttons from an old school shirt and stiched them to the centre of my flowers!

Birthday Cards for Family

I 've not been idle just making non- challenge cards.
This is for DD 15th which she happily celebrated yesterday. It was a quick card Kanban from a QVC buy recently! Obviously the money was the beast thing about the card :D


This shot shows how quickly the cash vanished - she spent the afternoon in town with a close friend and brought loads of clothes!!
