During the Easter Break I had lots of fun Playing with all the elements from Woodform Crafts
above. Had great fun making different layouts .
Starting with the large cog - a layer of crackle paint in areas, then building layers adding hues of acrylic blue.Often mixing colours using the Primary colours and titanium white from DecoArt Mixed Media range Continued to knock layers back using paint and wet wipes too.
The Hot Air balloon has many paint layers and stenciling.
Then cogs and flowers to add the interest / oppositional light and rusted, dark with bright contrast and added dimensional height.
The Middle purple flower is 4 layers tall. Some cogs are rusted whilst others are painted with Silver acrylic and distressed technique to age them.
The colours are a different choice from my usual - loved the experimentation .
As usual half way through I wanted to add something else and re- jig the original layout :) so the letters were added!
