One of the stamps is the A long Tale - the way the type is formatted still brings a smile to my face every time I see it! While it may be the shape of a tail it may also be a steam pattern from a good old cuppa!!
I decorated a large Plaque Deco Art MM Paints to the background TH stencil Stamperia grey paint to mute the colours .
The paper clay cup and saucer where painted with white gesso and detailing added with a fine brush and Twinkling H2o's cherry sorbet and honey amber and Green gold MM deco art acrylic paint.
The Doormouse stamp is from TJ Designs and the old floral Chinese stamp maybe from Kodomo Inc. The flowers were coloured with Twinkling H2O's same colour as the cup.
A strip of lace to the border was all that was needed .

This is fab, I love how you've used the Alice quote as steam from you tea cup. Thanks so much for joining in with us at Country View Crafts, and have a very happy weekend. Sue xx
I love your panel filled with all things Alice! the background is fabulous, and I love those flowers cascading down, but that teacup is the icing on the cake! Thank you so much for sharing your artwork with us at A Vintage Journey! Hugs! Sara Emily
What a lovely Alice theme card Carol! love that trailing stamp, your lovely teacup and little mouse! Thanks for sharing with us at A Vintage Journey! xx
What a wonderful plaque. Love the cup and saucer and, as you say, the words are brilliant, formatted in that way. They certainly do look like steam rising - great choice. The stencilled background is perfect and the lace brings to mind a lacy tablecloth. Brilliant :-)
