I was thrilled to be asked to decorate a small MDF for
Woodform Crafts debut on Honchanda.
I started by painting and stamping the inside of the box A happy accident meant used Iridescent bronze in the rusty layering technique which resulted in a rich sheen - quite yummy!
The chest was a Potions kit so lots of embellishments to alter and decorate - I only used a few so lots for future projects too . The book I decorated using printouts from Heather's
Thicketworks site - if you have never visited before you are in for a treat ! The mortar and pestle are Andy Skinners Granite Embossing powder.
For the outside having glued the chest I altered by using Stamperia rice paper, embellishments and paints for rusting I did think of using a metal chain around the edge but stuck with rust!!
I added metallic embellishments from my stash - really enjoyed decorating the chest.
Inside the chest for the lovely Jo Ward I left a scroll with ingredients and chocolate
